Pai Skincare - Geranium & Thistle Combination Skin Cream

Geranium and thistle work in perfectly together in this light organic moisturiser to clear and re-balance congested or unhealthy skin.

The moisturiser absorbs quickly leaving a beautiful matt finish, and is also perfect for applying underneath your make-up.

This is the moisturiser of choice for professional make-up artists on film and fashion shoots!

Containing high amounts of Essential Fatty Acids and a host of natural-active skin soothers, this moisturiser rebalances the skin and evens out skin tones.

Pai's moisturiser for combination and oily skin is a non-comedogenic product, which is free from harmful chemicals and pore blocking ingredients, such as beeswax.

Geranium

This is a common garden plant that has a calming and cooling effect on our skin, that makes it great for balancing combination complexions.

Thistle

Extracted from the seeds of the Safflower thistle, this oil contains high amonuts of skin-friendly omega 6 and is wonderful at clearing congested skin and reducing large pores.

Other Ingredients

Jojoba oil, purified water, coconut and corn derived emulsifier, thistle oil, borage oil, natural vitamin e, basil extract, geranium oil, juniper oil, lavender oil, natural lactic acid (from sugar beet), vegetable glycerine, corn extract, manuka oil.

This product is free from irritating chemicals and ingredients including:

alcohol, artificial fragrances, formaldehyde (including sodium hydroxymethylglycinate), phenoxyethanol, propylene glycol, sodium lauryl sulfate and parabens (including japanese honeysuckle).

Other Information

How to apply the mosituriser,

Morning Routine: Apply to clean, dry skin on your face and neck every morning.

Night Routine: If you skin is particularly prone to break-outs, we recommend cleansing with our detergent-free Cameilla & Rose and exfoliating Muslin Face Cloth before bed.

Do not not apply a moisturiser - instead allow your skin to breathe and rebalance itself over-night.

Store in a cool dry place. Ensure you use within 6 months of opening.

Question by paperpush: help getting a late start with makeup/skincare?
i'm in my 20s and i seem to have missed the stage of life when women discover how to do makeup and what kind of makeup and skincare products are good for them. now that i am in a professional work environment i feel some pressure to at least do some basic maintenance. so i guess what i'm asking is where one would start getting an understanding of makeup and skincare basics. i don't have much money to spend and am not planning on an elaborate routine. so, any suggestions?

One of the easiest things to do is get a free consult/makeover at a dept store counter. The Makeup Artists are more than happy to help someone. Just stop at one and talk about how you are not sure about some eye shadows, etc. If that seems to be fine, you can come back another time for lip shades/formulas. If you try to book a full face consult, they may expect you'll buy at least $ 50 worth of items. Since you really are looking for technique/education, try to break it down to impromptu visits.

Also, if you have access to a computer that accesses YouTube, there are many tutorials to view. It is nice to see it done on someone else too.
